Searching for Bluer Pastures

Hatcher Pass is my “happy place”. The last time I was there I was 11 and I remember even then how beautiful it was. I even have a necklace that is a postage stamp of Hatcher Pass. This trip was all about the blueberries! We ended up with about 10 gallons. We probably could have made that 11 gallons if I did more picking, than eating – but hey, how often do I get to do eat my breakfast off bushes in the great Alaskan wilderness? Its pardonable.
